Wool.y-The following are the prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: Lyndon, top 15Jd, average 13fd; Awanui, 13d and 12d; Te-Kap.u, 12.)d and lljd; Kaiwaku, 12d and llfd. ; Wheat is steady but quiet. qAustralian is less freely offered at 37s 3d to 37s 9d, which is asked for an Australian February-March-Apri} shipment. A cargo of 5000 quarters has been sold at 37s 9d. T. LAMASON’S REPORT. Last Saturday I held my usual weekly sale, when a very fair entry of various lines came to hand. I quote as follows : Hens Is to Is 9d, cockerels Is to Is 6d, ducks Is 3d to 2s, turkeys (small) -Is Od to ss, potatoes 5s Gd 70H) bags. Vegetables hard to quit. Fruit.—About 1000 cases of fruit were quitted during the week. Peaches Is Gd to 4s, apples 2s to 5s Gd, pears 2s 3d to 4s, quince 2s to 4s, plum 4s to ss, grapes 3s Gd to 4s Gd according to quality and size of case.
