GISBORNE SESSIONS

(Per Press Association.) Gisborne, March 9

In the divorce case, Victor Fiori v. Nora Annie Fiori and George Bowel, Auckland, co-respondent, evidence was given that the parties were employed at a local hotel. They were known to each other for a fortnight, and were married at a registry office. They then immediately quarrelled and separated, and had not seen each other since. Respondent made an admission by affidavit, but the Judge required evidence, and allowed the matter to stand over. Evidence will be taken in Auckland.

•WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Wellington, March 9. At the Supreme Corut sittings on Saturday, Henry Gordon Guildford, an ex-Burnham boy, aged 21, was sentenced to two years’ detention for reformative treatment.
