Auckland, March 9

The Hon. W. H. Herries arrived from Tokomaru Bay by motor this morning. Ho leaves to-morrow night for Whangarei. on an extensive tour of the North Auckland district. The Hon. Mr Fisher leaves Auckland for Wellington to-night. He will stay a few days in Wellington, and will visit Christchurch and Dunedin prior to sailing from the Bluff' fdr Hobart on March 24. A MAN MISSING. Wellington, March 9. David Picot, aged forty years, a resident of Karori, was reported missing on Saturday. Ho had not been seen since midnight on Thursday. A note that was found amongst his effects gave rise to anxiety. Search parties have been out ever since, but without result.
