NOMINATIONS for events 3,4 s 5, 6,7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 16 close with the Secretary at Matau at 8 p.m. on SATURDAY, March 1. ACCEPTANCES at 10 a.m. on day of Spcrts, Ail entries to he accompanied by fees and performances for the last two years. If ho performances tor two years, the last four to be given. The Committee reserve the right to hold moneys in case of protest. Each protest to bo accompanied by a fee of'6s, to be forfeited if protest is not upheld or considered trivial. District includes Pohokura to foot of Whangamomona Saddle, to Strathmore Township, thence along Akama Road and Head Road to Waitara Road, to Tarata Bridge and Matau North to Uruti. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports or make any alteration in the programme. The events are held under the Taranaki Athletic and Caledonian Association and the New Zealand Axemen’s Association. HANDICAPS will appear in the “Evening Post,” of March 8.
