PRIMITIVE METHODISM.
QUARTERLY MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the ex-Pri-mitive Methodist Church was held at Cardiff on Thursday afternoon last, a number of delegates being present. Routine business was transacted am. arrangements made in connection witi the Union of the Methodist churches A strong recommendation was pass that services be established by th new Methodist Church at Acklanc Road, if possible, at the Earliest date Harvest Thanksgiving celebration were fixed for Sunday, March the 23r, upon which date Mr Metson will als deliver farewell addresses to his con gregation worshipping at Broadway.
The finances were found to be sound there being a surplus of a few shil lings on the three months working At 6.30 in the evening a splendk tea was prepared by the Cardiff ladies when the tempting delicacies display ed were disposed of by large numbers there being three sittings at th tables. At the evening meeting, which war presided over by the Rev. B. Metson many were unable to gain admissioi to the building. A splendid musica programme was rendered, and tin items were enthusiastically receiv cd. The proceedings constituted i record for Cardiff in connection witl Methodism.
