Robert James Ewington, aged 30, married, of Masterton', was out pighunting in the Lower Valley on Tuesday, when his gun accidentally exploded and the contents lodged in the lower portion of his body. Ho died some hours later. DEATH UNDER ETHER. Christchurch, March -5. At the adjourned inquest on William David Robinson, who died in the Hospital under ether on Monday night, the medical evidence, based on the post mortem examination, was to the effect that death was attributable to heart failure induced by toxaemia, resulting from Intestinal obstruction and not duo to an anaesthetic. A verdict was returned accordingly.
