H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND.
THE VISIT TO CAPETOWN. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.' (United Press Association.) Capetown, March 5. The captain and officers gave a reception on board the New Zealand, which was largely attended. One hundred and fifty of the crew were taken to an aquatic carnival at Camps Bay. In the evening the Mayor gave a reception at the i City Hall, at which many notabilities were present. The New Zealand will sail for Simonstown at daybreak, where the vessel will provision. Nine officers and fifty bluejackets will pay a three days’ visit to Johannesburg, where they will be the guests of the-municipality. Fifty members of Parliament, including Molteno, Smuts, Philips, Fitzpatrick, and a number of Blackveldters travelled in the New Zealand to Simons Bay. After provisioning, the New Zealand sailed for Durban.
