THE PRIVY COUNCIL.
SUGGESTED LIMITATION OF APPEALS. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) (Received 8.5 a.m.) Ottawa, February 28. The Senate debated the limitation of appeals to tho Privy Council. On a motion suggesting the Australian system, Sir Richard Scott declared that the Privy Council favoured companies against individuals and municipalities. Sir George Ross insisted that cases arising out of municipal by-laws should not he permitted an appeal was beyond the Canadian courts.
