There is a large attendance and the track is in splendid order. Stipendiary Stewards McMahon, Gibson and Gordon are present. Results: | Stewards’ Handicap.—Allegation I. j Merry Frank 2, Distinction 3. All started. Won by a neck, a length and a half between second and third. Time, lmin 43sec. Petre Hack.—Lockwood 1, Heather, 2, Silver Rose 3. Scratched : Postillion, Denis Orme, Jackpin. Won by half a length, a neck between second and third. Time, linin 15 l-sscc. Westmero Hurdles.—Sandy Paul i 1, Rercola 2, Marton 3. Scratched: Sleacornbe. Won by two lengths | comfortably. Time, 3rnin 57 l-ssec. j The stipendiaries held an inquiry j into Patriotic’s running in the Stewards, and suspended the rider (E. Lowe) for the meeting, for not riding his mount out. Hack Hurdles. —Allure 1, Timothy Serenity 3. Scratched: Rercola, Master Sylvia. Won by two three lengths separating second and i third.
