FIRE.
THE MATATUA FIRE. (Per Press Association.) Timaru, February 26. The discharge of fire and waterdamaged flax from the Matatua is proceeding to-day. Sixty to seven more or less fire-damaged bales have been got out, some being little charred, while others were soaked. The discharge is hampered by the tangled (las through the broken bands.
