THE NORTHUMBERLAND MINERS (By * Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.' (United Press Association.) I London, February 26. The Northumberland miners have asked the Miners’ Federation executive what support it is prepared tr give in the event of their ballot favoring a strike against the three shifts system, which is the outcome of the Eight Hours’ Act. Mr Strieker, secretary of the Miners’ Association, declares that a national strike is out of the question, as the strike funds are depleted. The Federation might give sufficient support to keep Northumberland on strike. DYERS’ DISPUTE SETTLED. The dyers of Bradford have accepted the employers’ terms. THE MIDLAND RAILWAY CASE. (Received 9 a.m.) London, February 26. The Board of Trade is conferring with the ■ men re Richardson, who was dismissed by the Midland Railway Company for disobedience.
