HERD - TESTING.

STRATFORD AND MIDHIRST FEBRUARY FIGURES. Detailed results of the operations of tire Stratford and Midhirst Herd Testing Association for the thirty-day period ,ending February 7th are to hand. x STRATFORD DAIRY FACTORY. The highest herd average for butter fat was 32.71b5, and the lowest 17.32, the average Association cow giving 27.33. The ten highest cows averaged 47.13, and the lowestU.32. The best cow gave 53.U2 a nd the worst 9.24. The highest quan-tity of milk given by one cow was 10.101b5., which at a test of 3.5, produced 53.021b5. butter fat, while the lowest quantity by one cow was 2101b5., test 4.4, yield 8.241b5, butter fat.

MIDHIRST ASSOCIATION. The highest herd average in the Midhirst district was 42.161b5. butter fat, and the lowest 21.91. The average Association gave 21.95. The ten highest cows averaged 55.83, and the lowest 12.68. The best cow gave 67.621b5, and the worst 8.68.
