FRENCH ARMY AIRSHIPS. | (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) { (United Press Association.) Paris, February 25. Seven army airships have been ordered, Avith a capacity of 20,000 cubic metres, to travel at the rate of 40 miles an hour. THE REPORTED NOCTURNAL VISITS. Berlin, February 25. The ncAAspapers deride tbe reports of tho nocturnal visits of an airship to England. It was impossible that the most powerful Zeppelin could secretly visit England. BRITAIN IN THE REAR. (Received 10.15 a.m.) London, February 25. A number of tiic Royal Flying Corps points ‘out that Britain has neither an aeroplane nor a dirigible able to cope with Zeppelins, Avhilst the antiaircraft armaments consist of a few expensive quickfirers, lor handling Avhich no one is yet trained, and Avhich are not provided Avith suitable shells. THE NIGHT # VISITOR. (Received 10.55 a.m.) Loudon, February 25. Tho police and others at Portsmouth state that an airship with a powerful light hovered high above tho marine barracks and returned north. The body of the craft Avas indistinguishable in tho darkness.
