The Committee reserve the right to hold moneys in case of protest. Each protest to be accompanied by a fee of ss, to ho forfeited if protest is not upheld or considered trivial. District includes Pohokura to foot of Whangamomona Saddle, to Strathmore Township, thence along Akama Road and Head Road to Waitara; Road, to Tarata Bridge and Matau North to Uruti. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports or make any alteration in the programme. The events are hold under the Taranaki Athletic and Caledonian Association and ths New Zealand Axemen’s Association. HANDICAPS will appear in the “Evening Post,” of March 8.
