A FRANCO-GERMAN WAR.
GERMANY’S NORTHERN WING. (Received 10.15 a.m.) Loudon, February 24. The Pall Mall Gazette, commenting on the statement in Bernhardi’s new book that if at war with France, Germany’s northern wing would advance through Holland and Belgium, says “it was known that King Leopold promised the Kaiser not to oppose the passage through Belgium, but of the Hutch attitude we have only circumstantial evidence of fortifying the entrance to Scheldt against England.”
