POVERTY BAY v. HAWKE’S BAY. (Per Press Association.) Napier, February 23. The annual match between PovertyBay and Hawke’s Bay concluded yesterday, and resulted in a draw. Hawke’s Bay continued the first innings which closed for 114 or eleven runs behind their opponents. PovertyBay made 197 in their second innings, McMahon 46 and Scholium 33 being the principal scorers. Hawke’s Bay in the second innings made 122 for the loss of four wickets. Creed (not out) 59 and Bottrell 35.
