WANGANUI NOTES. (Per Press Association.) Wanganui, February 22. Rain fell yesterday and throughout the night, greatly benefiting tracks which are in splendid order this morning. A.utumnus beat Masterpiece by a length in a mile. Phroso and NorthFast were too good for Aruake over six furlongs in Imin ISsec. Denis Orme appeared better than Aviatrix over the five furlongs in Imin ssec. Tiresome, Allegation, Toney, Pest arrived yesterday and were restricted to slow work. Serenity shaped well over five hurdles.
