SOUTH AUCKLAND RACING CLUB (Per Press Association.) Hamilton, February 21. The South' Auckland Racing Club’s annual meeting opened to-day in showery weather.’There were good fields. Results:— Trial Handicap.—Phosphorous 1, Salvia 2, Clare 3. Tenby, Napper Tandy, Bon Cyr, Sadie, Miss Motion, Vic and Hammerless were scratched. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin .31 2-ssec. Claiudelands Handicap.—Blue Garment 1, Positive 2, Luperin 3. Lucille, Surplus, Leahora, and Salvia were scratched. Won by a head. Time, Imin 4 4-ssec.

South Auckland Cup.—Maxwell 1, Kaween 2, Jolie Fille 3. Manuwera and St. Lumsden were scratched. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 2min llsec.
