Claiudelands Handicap.—Blue Garment 1, Positive 2, Luperin 3. Lucille, Surplus, Leahora, and Salvia were scratched. Won by a head. Time, Imin 4 4-ssec.
South Auckland Cup.—Maxwell 1, Kaween 2, Jolie Fille 3. Manuwera and St. Lumsden were scratched. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 2min llsec.
