A list of winning sires compiled for the Australasian Turf Register for the half year ended January 27 shows that the progeny of Ayr Laddie have won 85 races of the value of £17,174. Malster is second on the • list with 69 races worth £10,742, while Wallace £10,399, Positano £10,313, and Sir Foote £7,841 follow in that order. Multiform figures in eleventh place with nine races worth £4,607, and Soult is credited with 11 rapes valued at £2,763, while the following Xew Zealand sires also figure in the list: Menschikoffi £1,820, Royal Artillery £1,510, Machine Gun £1,481, Nanette £1,423, Birkenhead £930, Sabretache £771, Wairiki £6lO, Stepniak £520, Royal Fusilier £503, Merriwee £5Ol, St. Ambrose £4lO, and Siege Gun £317.
