AX INQUIRY DEMANDED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) Brisbane, February 19. Senator Chataway, at a public meeting, demanded an inquiry as to why the settlement and development of Papua was not progressing satisfactorily. The death rate among the natives was treble that of Australia.
