THE FATE OF AN EXPEDITION. ,(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) Christiania, February 17. The expedition failed to rescue the German scientists, and returned to Advent Bay. They experienced terrific thunderstorms, and some were frost-bitten. Seven of the dogs perished, and the others were in a pitiable condition. Fresh dogs nro being awaited from Norway. The position of the Germans is critical. RELIEF PARTY ORGANISED.
