NORTH MT. LYELL MINE.
FIVE BODIES RECOVERED. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) (Received 8.40 a.m.) Hobart, February 18. Five bodies recovered at the 700 ft. level in the North Mount Lyell mine are in a wonderful state of preservation. All the indications point to the men having died by carbon-man-oxide poisoning. Clearing the mine is proceeding steadily.
