A woman, with her head almost severed, and dead, and a man, with his throat badly cut, and in a precarious condition, with a bloodstained razor alongside him, were found lying in the street. The woman had a handbag with a bank book, in which was the name: “Alice Hudson,” and the man is unknown. The case is supposed to be one of murder and suicide.
