ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES

HON. E. MITCH EPSON INJURED. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, February 16. A serious accident hefel the Hon. E. Mitchelson on Saturday. Mr Mitch elson was waiting for a tram after the Takapuna show, when an approaching tram frightened the horse, which bolted, throwing Mr Mitchelson against the engine. Mr Mitchelson’s loft leg was broken, and a small bone in the left wrist was fractured. He also received numerous severe cuts, but no internal injuries. A boy and a woman were also knocked down by the horse, but were not seriously injured.
