AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Modern methods of cheese making in Taranaki are to lie shown in a fine picture to be screened at His Majesty’s Theatre on Monday night. The picture opens with a splendid view of Mt. Egmont and country, rich with wellwatered plains and pasture lands, and give's a good idea of the immense herds of cattle employed in the dairy industry. • We sec the up-to-date methods adopted here—rounding up the cattle, close views of milking by vacuum machines, weighing the milk, churning by machinery 'until the curd is correct, running off, drying, anting and salting. After moulding, the cheeses are pressed and packed for shipment to all parts of the world. The Hepwortb Proprietary are showing “Curfew Must not Ring To-night” and the picture is stated to be one of exceptional beauty. Another wonderful film is “St. George and the Dragon,” an exclusive representation of this startling historical and romantic drama. “The Little Artist of the Market,” an Edison drama, is founded on a story of actual' life as recorded in the New \ ork Sunday Times. Summed up, Monday’s programme is one of sterling merit, and patrons should not miss the chance of seeing pictures really “worth while.
