Time, Iniin 2sec. Omata Hack.—Chamande 1, Jackpin 2, Passadena 3. (Scratched: Zetes. Won by a length. No time taken. Paul Memorial.—Byron 1, Dearest 2, Lady Mengchikoff .3. Won, by half a length. All “ Started. Time,' Imin 57 2-ssec. During the year 1911, gallons of beer were consumed in the city of. Nuremberg, making the average consumption of each man, woman and child rather more than 69 gallons. The star picture for the programme at Bernard’s Pictures this evening is entitled “The Apache Renegade.” It is a story of love, and a handkerchief, in an Indian setting, and it may be taken for granted that there is plenty of sensation. It is said to be among the best of its class of film that has been seen for some time, so that the younger generation will have a rare entertainment, “The Defence of the Dardanelles” is about the war that has been, and again is, in the limelight of national importance. Altogether, the programme is up to the usual high standard set by His Majesty’s, being billed as “none better in New York.” Usually you smile when you are in a good humour.
