In the House of Commons, Mr Limieux, in the naval debate, said that perhaps the Canadians would pay tribute once or twice to the Motherland, hut after that the time may break. The French-Canadians were fully alive to the many advantages under the British flag, and do not desire a separation in any form from the Empire, hut are determined to uphold a Canadian navy for Canada. M Limieux added that there was a deeplaid plot between the politicians of Britain and Canada.
