HON. J. ALLEN’S OFFER.
AN EXPLANATORY CABLE. (Por Press Association.) Wellington, February 12. Replying to Mr Massey re the expeditionary force, the Hon. Mr Allen cables: “1 wished to consult with the Imperial authorities in regard to the organisation necessary for an expeditionary force, its formation, number, and the nature of a contingent that would fit in with Imperial unity in case of necessity, so that when men volunteered under our Act everything would bo ready for them to go.”
