H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND.
A QUESTION IN THE HORSE. Capetown, February 8. Mr Yanniekiri has given notice to ask whether Sir R. Solomon’s remarks aboard the New Zealand were made with the Premier’s knowledge. Speaking at a luncheon on the New Zealand, Sir R. Solomon, High Commissioner for South Africa, congratulated New Zealand on its practical loyalty. The visit of the vessel to Table Bay would help the growing feeling of South Africans towards cooperation.
