FURTHER STATEMENTS. (Received 10.15 a.rn.) London, February 7. Baines gave evidence that Roc requested him to take charge of Trevanion. Withers asked for £IOOO per annum. Nothing was mentioned about his living with Trovanion at his flat or at becoming his guardian. Twice Mrs Trevanion told witness she would make it hot for Roe, whom she disliked. KNIGHT’S DOMESTIC AFFAIRS. (Received 10.45 a.m.) London, February 7. Miss Suffell, the girl friend of Grimes, states that long ago Knight told her ho wanted a separation but bis wife refused. He declared he would commit suicide if Grimes declined to elope with him, as he could not stand the strain any longer.
