Services at Wesley Church to-mor-row will be conducted by Mr A. Snowball, of New Plymouth. All are cordially invited. x Mr Newton King will hold an important sale of high-class pedigree Jerseys ai; the Waiwakaiho yards on Friday, February 28th. Particulars appear in another column. The Hawke’s Bay Fruit Growers’ Company, Ltd., Hastings, have decided to distribute fruit throughout the Stratford area at exceptional reasonable terms. All orders posted to Mr S. Barnard, Stratford, will receive prompt attention. Messrs Webster, Dobson and Co. advertise entries of their Strathmore stock sale to be held on Monday. At Toko on Monday, Mr Newton King will hold a clearing sale on account of Mr A,. A. McPhail, when a large number of well-bred sheep are to be offered. Mr Newton King holds his Urenui sheep fair on Monday, at 12.30 p.m. Entries are advertised. At the Kakaramea saleyards on Monday, the N.Z.L. and M. Coy. conduct their annual weaner fair, when 500 mixed weaners will be sold. A reward is offered for the return of a gold medal. Messrs Matthews, Bennett and Co. sheep fair takes place on Wednesday, February 19th. At the Hawera yards on Thursday next, the N.Z.L. and M. Agency Coy. hold a weaner fair. Messrs Matthews, Bennett nd Co. announce that they have postponed their weaner fair on account of the Taranaki races. On February 17th, on Richmond Road, Inglewood, Messrs Matthews, Bennett and Co. hold a clearing sale oji account of the executor in the estate of the late R. Schriebler. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Hawera, will hold their annual weaner fair at their Eltham yards on Wednesday, February 12th. Entries appear in another column. Wirth’s Circus, “the greatest show on earth,” 1 is advertised to appear in Stratford on Friday next,for one night only. Particulars will appear later. Through this issue we circulate an inset for “The Red Post” of New Plymouth, announcing a great stocktaking sale in household furnishings, etc. People should not miss this opportnnitv.
