WOOL SALES. Wellington, February 7. At the wool sales to-day there was a catalogue of 1600 bales, and keen competition for all coarse and medium crossbreds. The American buyers were not so keen for super line's. Prices advanced a farthing to halfpenny on those ruling last January. T. Lamason’s Weekly Report. Last Saturday I held rny usual weekly sale when there was a very good attendance of buyers, and also a very good entry in the different lines. I quote:—Hens Is 2d to Is 6d, cockerels 7d to Is 3d, ducks Is to Is 9d. Apples 3s 6d to 7s case, peaches 3s Cd to 4s, plums 2s 6d to .‘*s, according to size of case and quality.
