! THE NAPIER WOOL SALES. (Per Press AsscMation.) Napier, Last Night. Tho third and last wool sales of the season under tho auspices of tho Napier Wool brolters’ Association was hold to-day. There was a representative attendance of buyers and 7325 bales were offered, against 3725 for tho corresponding sale last year. The bulk of the catalogue comprised dingy, seedy back country dips and lambs’ wool, not many bright well conditioned lots being submitted. As compared with tho January side of thrs year to-day’s prices showed an improvement of a farthing on medium fleece wools and a farthing to a halfpenny on coarse wools. Lambs sold at par the highest price, bringing 12£d. No American sorts were offered in fleece wool. Appended is the range of prices with figures for the corresponding sale of last year given in parentheses:—Medium halfbred 9d to 9ifd (B|d to IGd); fine crossbred, 10.)d to lid (9d to 9i ! d); medium crossbred, to lid (8d to 9 id); coarse crossbred 9d to lOd (7d to 8id) ; inferior crossbred 8d to 9d (64-d to 7d); pieces, 6d to 9d (5d to 7fd); bellies, 6d to 8d (5d to 6fd) ; locks, 4Jd to sid (3d to 4id); lambs, 7d to 8d to 10*d).
