- O AUSTRALIAN MEAT. ’'By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.! (United Press Association.) Melbourne, February 4. Mr Cherry, veterinary inspector attached to the Commonwealth Office, London, in a report urges the necessity of improving Australian stock strains for beef and mutton purposes. Flo saw at Swift’s shops, in Smithfield, a display of Argentine beef and mutton which had been dressed in England. This was a great advertisement, and showed the keenness of the Argentine for the British market.
