TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.
ANNUAL SHOW. From a general conversation with Mr Arthur Cliff, the secretary of the Taranaki Agricultural Society, we gather that the coming Show, which is to be held at New Rlyinouth on February 26th, and. 27th, is going to be a record Show for Taranaki. Already the secretary is in receipt of some hundreds of entries in all the sections from different .parts of the Dominion and especially from the outside districts. Entries in the stock sections are to hand from Hawke’s Bay. the Wairarapa and also the Sour,a Island. This is very promising as with the extra support that will be forthcoming from the New Plymouth district, owing to the Show now being held at a more convenient time of the year than hitherto, vye think the Society is assured of a record Show. Farmers will also be pleased to note that they are guaranteed a good display of machinery, as already a large amount of sp ace has been applied for, several milking machine proprietors as well as agricultural implement manufacturers, having booked space. Entries close on the 15th inst., and we would recommend that early application be made for space, thereby assisting the clerical staff engaged in compiling the catalogue, and also ensuring that the exhibitor will secure the best stand available.
