The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows;
The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds prevailing; weather pro'qably cool and changeable, but there is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather prevailing. Cold night; barometer rising slowly.
