The Admiral and officers of the Japanese warships Adzuma and Soya were entertained by the Federal Government. ,
Mr. Fisher (Premier) said the geographical relations of Australia and Japan rakde the countries neighbours. He hoped their peoples would always be friends, and would co-operate to enable the friendship to be deep and lasting. There was sufficient scope for all he said of the Japanese that enterprise and vigour had made their name .honoured,, throughout the world. Thi Admiral, replying; said Japan would always be anxious to enjoy the friendship of the Anglo-Saxon people, whoffi airtlfeir countrymen admired.
