E. -Manning (Hamilton), Dr. Warren (Marton), W. A. Veitch, M.P. (Wanganui), S. A. Mair (Hunterville), E. S. Wood, (Palmerston North), L. Gorton (Feilding), J., Cross (Masterton), Captain J- Kirk (Gisborne), H. S. von Haast and Captain Barclay (Wellington), Field (Nelson), Bosswell (Westport), Rev. L A. Bernstein and G. Hume (Christchurch) Dr. Mac Adam (Oamaru), J. F. M. Frazer, K.C., and K. Ford (Dunedin), and J. E. Watson (Invercargill). Mr. J. K. Macfie (Dunedin) was elected secretary, and Mr. R. Laidlaw (Auckland) treasurer. It was decided that the next conference meet on May 24, 1914. It was decided to send to branches the following list of subjects for their report—How best to celebrate Empire and Trafalgar Days, especially as regards the children; collection of clothing, etc., for the poor of London; the question of co-operating with kindred societies; the publication of a pamphlet on New Zealand. The question of maintaining rooms in London was considered and the suggestion was favourably received. Empire Day was decided upon as the day principally to be celebrated by the club. ,
