ALLEGED FORGERY. (Received 8.5 a.m.) Sydney, January 25. There has been an extraordinary activity on the Stock Exchange during the past few days in the scrip of the Greater J. 1). Williamson’s Amusement Company, 100,000 shares having changed hands. The company’s subscribed capital amounts to £IBO,OOO. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a former official of this company on a charge of forging the order for a sale of 40,000 shares.
