Haupiri... from South, Thursday. H. D. Bendixcn, schooner, left Seattle December 23rd. Due end of February. Cargo—-Oregon pine and laths; consignees—Webster Bros.
The contractor (Mr A. B. Burrell) for the new Public Works Buildings in Juliet street commenced work this morning. There is an immense amount of earth required for filling in the section, and this is being taken from the Flint road-Broadway crossing.
