The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as followsThe indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but southerly moderate to strong prevailing shortly. Expect changeable, showery and dull weather, with much mist, and fog in parts. Barometer unsteady. Storm probably dispersing northwards.
