VICE-REGAL RECEPTION.
AT AUCKLAND
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, January 21
Lord and Lady Liverpool were welcomed on the occasion of their first official visit to Auckland by the Mayor, and members of the City Council The Premier (Hon. W. F. Massey), and General Godley were among tnoge present. The Town Hall was packed when the address of welcome was presented. This afternoon there is a levee at Government House. The ViceRegal party returns to Wellington tonight.
