THE CHOCOLATE TRAGEDY.
VERY HEAVY BAIL,
(Per Press Association.) Brisbane, January 13
In connection with th© granting of bail by Mr Justice Chubb to the man Burgess, charged with murdering Miss Zillman by means of poisoned chocolates, the terms of the bail are, accused in £SOOO, and two sureties of £2OOO each. Burgess is to report himself to the police at Warwick every second day. The hail was forthcoming, and Burgess released.
