The Lancashire section of the National Unionists’ Association unanimously thanked Lord Lansdowne an:l Mr. Bonar Law. Lord Derby, while thoroughly adhering to the policy of Imperial preference, advised his hearers to abandon the words “food taxers” and “free ffooders,” and leave no stone unturned to gain a victory in the towns.
