TARANAKI LAND BOARD.

At the monthly meeting of the laI Land Board the following busi- | ness of interest to the district was dealt with:— I Transfers, i M. T. Jury applied to transfer to D. M. Pitcaithley sections 15, 18, 19, 20, | Block 1.V., Ngatimaru, comprising an area of 1000 acres. Conditions had been fulfilled, and the transfer was approved. T. E. Hounslow and Matilda Rule applied to transfer to Matilda Rule 1 and C. Hounslow sections 1,2, and 5, | Block V., Egmont, comprising an area 1 of 689 acres.—Approved. A. Mcßeth applied to transfer sections 1 and 2, Manganui Town Belt, i 59a. Or. Ip., to J. Foreman and J. F. Loveridge.-—Approved. The Board’s consent to subdivision 1 and transfer of part section 57, Block 1., Ngaire, from Murdock and Lind to the Cardiff Co-operative Dairy Co., was confirmed. Licenses Issued. It was decided to grant a certificate for issue of title to section 2, Block TIT., Hawera, to John Cocker,, in terms of Part TT. of The Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912, also to grant a

j certificate for issue of title to section 88, Block X., Ngaire, to W. J. Simp son. General. It was decided to offer section 1, Block X., Mahoe, under part 111. of The Land Act, 1908, at a valuation of 20s per acre. —Approved. It was decided to call for tenders for a five years’ lease of section 10. Block XVI., Pouatu, subject to the usual conditions. It was also decided to re-oifer section 3, Block XV., Ohura, under part HI. of the Land Act, with the value of the improvements included in capital value of the land aftrr re-valua-tion.

The Board decided to dispose of a small piece of Crown lands adjoining section 238, Moa, to the owner of section 238, valuation to be m.v.e ty ranger, who will bo asked to take the exceptional circumstances into account.
