The following are the lists of the Taranaki candidates that at the Edu cation Department’s examinations oi November and December last quali fled for the Junior National or Education Board Junior Scholarships, 01 through scholarship examination fm Junior District High Schools and Tech ideal Schools. The names are ar ranged in order of merit, with the to tal marks gained by the candidate: out of a possible total of 800. Candidates in this list on satisfying tin Education Board of their eligibility in other respects (age included) will b( eligible to receive scholarships up t( the limit of the number of scholarship available. Those who do not receive a scholarship may receive a Junim Free Place:—
