AN INSPECTOR’S REPORT
THE GRUESOME STATEMENTS
VERIFIED
(Received 9.30 a.m.) Hobart, January 15. The inspector of the WadsAvorth Public Health Department, reporting on the Queenborough Cemetery, states that he examined rubbish heaps and remains of fires in different parts, and found the remains of a child’s coffin partly consumed by fire,and two hones. He found another small coffin in another heap. The gravedigger informed him that the coffins Avers removed on the chairman’s instructions four months ago in order to put another body in. Another heap disclosed a large number of broken coffins.
