LIVE ELECTRIC WIRE.
TEAM HORSES ELECTROCUTED
MEN RECEIVE SHARP SHOCKS,
(Received 9.40 a.m.) London, January 13
Snow broke an electric wire at Shef field, and it fell on the tramway, which received a high charge of elec tricity.
As the result, two horses were killed, and two drivers received a shock and were unable to escape. Two Avorkmen ran to their rescue but were struck down. Two others tcok off their overcoats, stood on one, and threw the other to the stricken men, who were then hauled out of danger.
