The Government Meteorologist (Rev. I). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The judications are for northerly moderate to strong winds, freshening and veering by west to south, llie weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. Baromter unsteady, but falling.
