The man Collins has been committed for trial on the charge of threatening King George; and also for threatening Lilliah McCarthy, an actress, and demanding £IOOO. The prosecution drew attention to Collins’ mental state. MINERS’ WAGES. The Coal Conciliation Board has raised miners’ wages in the federated area by od, making the wages now 60 per cent, above the standard, and the highest on record. EXPLOSION ON BATTLESHIP. (Received 1 p.m.) Paris, January 6. In an explosion in the main condenser of the battleship Massena, at Toulon, eight men were killed. ROCKFELLER DISCOVERED. New York, January 6. Mr. Rockfeller has been traced to the Bahamas, and is believed to be staying at Nassau. It is understood he intends to return and give evidence.
